Welcome to My Blog

My name is Pamela Houlihan. I am an artisit living and working in Los Angeles. I have a BA degree from Cal-State Fullerton and have been working in various mediums for the past 25 years. I am a member of the Los Angeles Printmaking Society.
I have decided to change this blog to include activities that are going on in my life along with displaying some of the art that I am working on. Any comments are welcomed.

This is my second mixed media piece in which I incorporated printmaking elements.

I will be in the LAPS New Members Show that is opening Oct. 13, 2007 at the Old Town Gallery in Tustin, CA. I have written to ask if I can exhibit a mixed media piece along with a traditional print. If so, this is the piece I would like to exhibit.

Phases of the Moon with Screened Window

This is one of my newest pieces. It is mixed media on wood 14" x 11". I have submitted this for the Tarfest along with two intaglio prints. This is a juried exhibition. I will find out if my work has been chosen for this exhibit sometime in August.
